DIAL ZERO!
This is my first attempt at a webcomic. It is entirely produced by me (script, art, color) using Manga Studio.
The story will appear in 6 chapters of 5 pages each. Every few weeks I will post the next installment so I hope it holds your interest.
Some background: The Adventures of Sgt Zero Dial of the Metronome City police is a concept I threw together in an afternoon but it contains ideas that I've always enjoyed exploring. He is a reluctant hero. A man with gifts he regards as "stupid" but is forced to use because the city has no other point of reference to call upon when super-villains attack. These incidents border on the ridiculous due to Zero's lack of experience and power. He's greatly overestimated by his superiors, Capt Charles Marley and The Mayor.
Think of Zero as the poor schmuck that's asked by a classroom to read them James Joyce when he all can handle is "See Spot Run." That's the extent of his power. And since he's sent out when any nutjob attacks the city, I don't forsee a happy ending for the guy. But he makes the best of it.
I hope you enjoy DIAL ZERO!

WELCOME! WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING?
Welcome to everybody!
This is my simple attempt at posting my own webcomics. I am a writer, that's my bag & what I hope to make a name at doing. Until I land that big contract by a publisher, I'm not going to sit back & write scripts that no one will read. SO.....
...I decided to to get a tablet & software, stretch drawing muscles I haven't used in years & put together some webcomics in the meantime. By no means do I plan to work at becoming a professional penciller. A man's got to know his limitations (thank you, Clint) and so this site will just be a means of getting my ideas visualized.
I welcome feedback & criticism, any at all. I crave it! This is a learning experience & I've already benefitted greatly from points & tips other artists & writers have given on early drafts. Of course, plain negativity will be ignored. You can do better than that.
A little about me: I'm a writer/musician/artist/sculptor with a great love of comics. Have been since I picked up my 1st O'Neill/Adams Batman as a wee lad of three. I'm always involved in numerous projects & am happiest when creating. As of this posting, I'm involved in two upcoming print projects which I can't wait to announce!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
